Europcar, one of the largest vehicle hire companies globally who operate in over 140 countries, approached our client with plans to move their corporate headquarters and 130 staff to a new location near Watford.
Once the help of the design and build team had been enlisted, the pressure was on to complete the office move in a very tight time frame. However, this didn’t mean a compromise on the quality of design, and we were pleased to be able to assist with what evolved into a clean, stylish and modern office space, selecting the Trend carpet tile range in various colours and Momenta luxury vinyl tiles in the canteen areas.
Of particular note is the use of the Trend Comfrey carpet tiles as highlight pieces in the main walkway areas to complement the company’s corporate colours. The walkway areas consist of the darker neutral colours in Trend Domino, and the remaining areas used the lighter Trend Malay carpet tiles. Both were laid in a quarter-turn pattern to add texture and create further visual interest. In addition, Momenta Universal Oak was selected as a more practical, low-maintenance option for the breakout and canteen areas with specially sourced luxury vinyl tiles in matching shades of green to tie in with Europcar’s corporate colour scheme.
