Axis – Grey Slates & Grey Ash

Alteryx appointed Zentura when they decided to open their first London office.  Zentura immediately looked to Duraflor to assist them create the main feature area for the project, a large breakout area.

The brief was to create the perfect place for staff to come together on a Friday afternoon, have a drink and take part in relaxing and social activities. The area was to include a kitchen, pool table and iconic furniture, so it needed to cope with heavy traffic, be slip resistant and look good on the floor, in order to showcase its surroundings.

Duraflor’s AXIS range was the perfect choice, with it’s beautiful natural wood and stone finishes, and heavy contract wear rating. Its scratch and scuff resistance properties and resistance to chemicals, also made it the ideal choice for such a busy area.  As a looselay tile, it meant minimum subfloor preparation and a quick and easy installation – enabling Zentura to complete 5,840 sq/ft fit-out in just 4 weeks.

Momenta – Progression

When Chameleon appointed Zentura to create the ideal look for their newly acquired office space, we were asked to help them create the perfect floor space for their blank canvas brief. By supplying a combination of carpet tiles and luxury vinyl tiles, in colours that enhanced the look of the furniture and partitioning, we assisted Zentura in creating a very distinctive feel.

Momenta Mill Grey luxury vinyl tiles provided the perfect flooring solution for the busy kitchen area. While our Progression carpet tiles, provided the ideal backdrop to the furniture colour scheme chosen. To give the floor extra pop, complement the furniture and give the office a bright and fresh look, Duraflor Bright Ideas carpet tiles were used.

Momenta – Heritage Oak & Nutmeg Oak

Recently-established Vietnamese restaurant ‘NAM’ has completed its fit out to a spec provided by cutting-edge design and build company Amspec. The specification for the new restaurant included the installation of a statement floor – a brief that Amspec knew Duraflor could fulfil.

To blend with the quirky bar area and exposed brickwork, Duraflor’s Momenta range was selected. Using the Heritage Oak and Nutmeg Oak colours, the full size vinyl planks were laid in a herringbone pattern, thus helping to create an inviting and relaxed atmosphere in this new Manchester based restaurant.

The Momenta range delivers eye catching luxury balanced with low maintenance practicality, and our client can be confident that their floor will remain a statement piece for years to come. A quality floor to match the quality food.

Progression – Bright Ideas

When Trams relocated to new office space in London Bridge, Zentura asked Duraflor to help them create a modern and welcoming office space. Duraflor offered the perfect solution with the Progression Black Ice carpet tiles, combined with a fast turnaround to meet the company’s tight time schedule.

In addition, Duraflor were able to provide colours that enhanced the look of the new office furniture. Progression Black Ice carpet tiles provided the perfect canvas for the splash of colour introduced by the Bright Ideas carpet tiles. These were used to give the office a welcoming and innovative feel. Our client was particularly pleased with how well Bright Ideas worked with the features that Zentura included in their design, such as a bespoke “railway carriage” type meeting room and fake grass on the roof terrace.

Axis – Weathered Chestnut & Grey Ash

Design company Zentura were tasked with the refurbishment of the Elexon offices in Central London. For this project, the flooring of choice was Duraflor’s Axis range.

The design includes a highlight central circle of Axis Grey Ash bordered with Axis Weathered Chestnut planks, providing a hard wearing and attractive floor for this heavy traffic area. Its wear layer of 0.7mm means it gives excellent performance in this busy environment.

The project was to a tight deadline and completed in just 3 weeks, with Duraflor helping the client from sample to delivery to meet timescales and budget.

Bright Ideas – Light Bulb

In order to make a strong statement in their new corporate offices,
this marketing agency chose a vibrant pink from the Bright Ideas range to complement the overall flamboyant design of their office.

This range of highlight carpet tiles is normally used to bring a splash of colour into floor designs, often representing a company’s corporate style or used to visually create zone. However this creative agency were keen to make an impact and selected Bright Ideas Light Bulb to really inspire those light bulb moments.

The floor covering is a heavy duty Class 33 range of tiles, which is ideal for heavy traffic areas. The tiles also feature excellent sound absorption properties, bringing a little luxury into any office environment.

Trend Comfrey & Agility Twist

When a well-known, blue chip company wanted to renovate their offices in London they chose to mix bright linear Trend tiles for meeting rooms and comfort areas, whilst using Agility Twist for the work and walkway areas.

The Trend tiles enabled the designers to create an inspiring interior, while Agility Twist tiles were ideally suited to the high traffic areas, due to their excellent soil hiding properties. Both tiles matched together seamlessly preventing any fluffing around joins.

Progression – Lead Pipe & Black Ice

The client, an international accredited registrar and classification company, chose Duraflor’s Progression range for their London offices. This range was ideally suited to the requirements of a busy office; the tiles provide a combination of excellent performance and life cycle cost.

Duraflor supplied two coordinating colours: Black Ice, which was selected for the circulation spaces, and Lead Pipe, which was used throughout the office areas and meeting rooms. With a unique soil hiding design and high wear quality, these Progression tiles delivered a long-lasting solution to this client.

AXIS – Real Oak

As part of a complete office furniture and interiors project, Spectrum Workplace designed and installed a striking modern staff canteen design. AVM Impact’s canteen and break out area experienced a large amount of traffic, as many staff visit this area each day. In order to cope with this demanding environment yet still provide an attractive and easy to maintain appearance, Axis Real Oak from Duraflor was chosen. Its natural design blends well and its high wear rating is suited to this busy area. It also worked well with the funky chairs and vibrant colour scheme chosen.

Staff commented on how much they appreciated the new vibe of their canteen and how it had been transformed into a high street style café that they would be keen to visit.
